Artist's Description
This image was scanned just after the painting was finished. Since then the surface has been cut into two unequal pieces, sanded, and framed. The edges will be tinted and glazed. The painting will be varnished and then reassembled. All that to explain that the finished original will resemble the print but have a distinct difference in presentation that would not translate well into print.
The title refers to the colors of the southwest natural surfaces.
