"Vision" is a study in ambiguity. It suggests
that one of the figures is the vision of the other.
The viewer is charged to discover the story telling element
here. The gate clearly signifies a barrier that could be real
or imaginary. Is it a prison in the middle east, a graveyard?
Is he physically removed and envisioning her in order to survive?
Or is he her vision? Does the person in the vision exist at all?
