"Think Like a Tree" was created for a show, by the same name, for jspace gallery in Marble Falls. All of the invited artists were asked to submit a painting of a tree or trees. When I reminded the owner/organizer that my subject matter was predominantly figurative, her simple reply was "I know". You can see what happened.
About Robert D McBain
Dan is a working artist and stager in San Antonio, Texas. Much of his career work has been in batik collage and can be purchased unframed on mcbainstudio.biz. Recent paintings are acrylic. I've seen this in various contests and have come to the conclusion that contests here are not a reflection of real talent. This is truely magnificent.
