Artist's Description
This batik is the under painting of an original batik collage donated to First Baptist Church San Antonio of "Christ with the Children".
Commissioned in 2006 the top layer is cut into squares. Pieces that did not compromise the meaning of the figures were removed to expose this image as a premonition of His path. Prints of the finished collage are not currently offered. This layer which has a simple and direct meaning is available here at faa.
