Title
Think Like a Tree
Artist
Robert D McBain
Medium
Painting - Acylic On Stretched Canvas
Description
"Think Like a Tree" was created for a show, by the same name, for jspace gallery in Marble Falls. All of the invited artists were asked to submit a painting of a tree or trees. When I reminded the owner/organizer that my subject matter was predominantly figurative, her simple reply was "I know". You can see what happened.

Oh - Robert I couldn't find a button to vote with, so I shared this beautiful piece on Google. You will probably get some out of FAA visitors. I hope they buy it.

This is incredible, It is stunning and dramatic. I love the texture, how they seem so root-flexy.

I've seen this in various contests and have come to the conclusion that contests here are not a reflection of real talent. This is truely magnificent. For me art is many things, but most of all it is something I would like to look at every day, and each day find something new in what I see. I could look at this every day.
Robert D McBain replied:
Thanks Michael. That is indeed high praise. As you read in the description, this piece was inspired by an art event focusing on trees. It was a hit there as well. The original is still on my gallery wall.
